We wish to live in a society of free and educated people. Access to the Latvian and world cultural heritage is necessary for the development of knowledgeable and harmonious personality.
Among us there are people to whom that is denied. There are more than one hundred thousand people in Latvia with functional impairments. For those people, information is accessible in special formats only, as Braille, audio books, easy language.
Although this support is guaranteed by law, the state at this time is unable to help them adequately.
