Institute of NGOs is the research and training programme for non-governmental organisations established by foundation „Ziedot.lv”. The institute designs quality training programmes and research on themes relevant to NGOs and aims at increasing of effectiveness of organisations concentrating on attracting funds from individuals and companies.
Impact of NGOs on society is very significant but not always recognised. In order to thank the most successful organisations and to promote their activities in wider public, the Award of the Institute of NGOs was established three years ago. The Public Benefit Foundation of the Aizkraukles Bank is the partner of Institute of NGOs that is financing the Award.
